Nepali cuisine in the Grove

This news predates the launch of Gut Check, but I was in the neighborhood last night and snapped this (yes, yes, crappy) photo. So, in case you didn't know: Everest, the Nepali restaurant currently located just west of the Loft District on Washington Avenue, will be relocating this fall to the Grove in Forest Park Southeast. Its new home, pictured here, is on Manchester Road, across from the Atomic Cowboy.

The Guardian has a good story today about the opening of Whole Foods Market in London, the company's first outpost in Europe. The piece refers to Whole Foods as the "Disney World of food," which may seem apt if you've ever waited in the Brentwood location's checkout line on a Sunday afternoon.

Speaking of Whole Foods: Looks like the FTC isn't too happy with the company's planned acquistion of rival Wild Oats. Stay tuned.
