Bush Creates Food-Safety Panel

Well, I'll be gosh-durned. Our favorite story has gotten W's attention.
President Bush today issued an executive order creating a "high-level government panel" to examine how to improve oversight of food imports. Secretary of Health and Human Services Michael Leavitt will head the panel. (CNN)
Maybe the president will take the panel's recommendations more seriously than he did those of the 9-11 Commission or the Iraq Study Group?
