Downtown Restaurant Week 2007
Fresh off the plane from Dallas, I bring news of the third annual Downtown Restaurant Week. This year's event will run from Monday, August 13, through Saturday, August 18. Diners will be able to enjoy a three-course meal for $25 per person (tax and tip excluded) at 25 downtown establishments, including An American Place, Lucas Park Grille, Mosaic and Red Moon. Some participating restaurants will give diners the opportunity to donate $5 to the Operation Food Search charity.
According to the official press release for this year's Downtown Restaurant Week, more than 12,500 diners attended last year's events. So you probably shouldn't bank on getting a walk-in table.
