The FTC claims that Whole Foods plans to shut down 30 Wild Oats stores if a judge allows Whole Foods' proposed takeover of its rival to occur. (AP)

Wait! Whole Foods says the FTC's claim is based on proprietary information not meant to be made public. Whole Foods also says it can't make any decisions on closing Wild Oats stores until the merger is complete. (Reuters)

The judge in the case is expected to rule soon. And then, I hope, we can all move on with our lives.
