A Friendly Suggestion

• You probably are aware that the honeycrisp is a hybrid developed at the University of Minnesota. You can go to the university's orchard this time of year and buy all kinds of apples. The honeycrisp and other U of M apples utterly kick the ass of what I've found everyplace else i've lived & bought apples. It's about the only goddam thing I miss about that place. And your implication is right on the nose: The St. Louis-specific apple selection, as far as I've been able to tell from living here most of my life, ranks near, if not at, the bottom of the ... wait for it ... barrel.
