On Thursday, November 15 author and food historian Francine Segan hosts Aphrodisiacs of Shakespeare's Day at 609 Restaurant & U Lounge (609 Eastgate Avenue; 314-721-9168). The Shakespeare Festival of St. Louis and Artlink sponsor this evening of stimulating sampling, from oysters to truffles, as well as a discussion of the aphrodisiacs alluded to in Shakespeare's plays.
