More on Skybox
In yesterday's episode, I couldn't get the Web site for Skybox, the new sports bar and grill from Nelly, Marshall Faulk, Larry Hughes and Darius Miles, to work on my computer.
Well, I'm working from home right now, and the Web site works and...it's playing a dance mix of the old NBA on NBC theme? Sweet!
At any rate, more info: Skybox (800 North Third Street) is open 11 a.m.-1:30 a.m. Mon.-Fri. and 4 p.m.-1:30 a.m. Sat.-Sun. Food is served till 10 p.m. Sun.-Thu. and till Midnight Fri.-Sat.
The menu (link PDF) features standard sports bar food -- burgers and sandwiches and nachos and wings -- but with a definite Southern soul food twist. You can get shrimp and grits, for example, and ribs with Nelly's own barbecue sauce. (Please, no Pimp Juice jokes.)
