Coming Soon: The U

Another new spot in Midtown, The U will open at 3108 Olive Street on Monday, April 7, according to the restaurant's Web site. The menu features sandwiches and salads with a collegiate theme. SLU students and night owls should be happy to note the new joint's hours: 11 a.m.-3:30 a.m. Mon.-Sat.
[UPDATE: Commenter Dan D. reminds us that The U will be next door to Pappy's Smokehouse and Buffalo Brewing Co.]

FYI, this is the former Santo Bento space, and Pappy's Smokehouse and Buffalo Brewing are in the same building.
