Now Open: Winslow's Farm & Home

Now open at 7213 Delmar Boulevard in University City, about half a mile west of the Loop, is Winslow's, which bills itself as a "new American general store." I stopped by today to snoop around. It's a cool place, with groceries and housewares as well as a small selection of beer and wine, an espresso bar and prepared foods. I did notice a few pieces of produce labeled as being from Missouri, but I wasn't really, you know, making an inspection. Drop by and check it out yourself.
