“Hi Rebecca this is Derek. I am calling in one last attempt to have you remove your review, and I spoke to my attorney about the first review you posted. I printed it out. That is defamation of character my attorney and will slap a lawsuit on you if the review is not gone in 24hrs. You never dined here. You don’t have receipt from here. You drank here, no service, no food… I will sue you. Your review has nothing to do with my restaurant… Trust me I will spend $10k in lawyers to win a $100k from you. We tried Joe Bush's and loved it. We took our baseball team back there the following week! I recommend the double decker pizza. It's soooo filling and delicious! The salads come in a big bowl, so you actually have room to toss the dressing!! We will definitely be going back..soon!

I have eaten at this restuarant twice and continue to be disappointed. While the waitors/waitresses are friendly, the food leaves something to be desired.

I was excited to find a local sports bar in South City. But all of my excitement quickly dissolved after eating here on several occasions. My date tried the pizza bites, which consisted of some pasty, salty, cheese paste with pieces of italian sausage on day old rye bread. I had the hamburger with slightly melted cheese. I've had better burgers at McDonalds.

I suggest avoiding the food and enjoy the drink specials instead.

I recommend Joe Bush's. I have been there 5 times and have never been disappointed.
The friendly service, and I love the Karebean salad. I have tried Karen's cornbread souffle and LOVED it. Wish I had ordered some for home. Their specials are worth checking into. I like the locations of the plasma tv's..you'll never miss any action. Thanks for moving into this location very easy is to find.

I went there tonight and ate for really the first time. The food and service were both terrible.

Let me start by saying I spent a good 7 or so years in the restaurant industry doing a wide array of tasks including managing a pizza joint (Shakespeare's in Columbia MO) as well as serving at a pizza joint (Pi on the Delmar Loop), so I know my fair share of the industry.

That being said, my experience was terrible. It took a good 10 minutes for the server to greet us after we were seated, and this is when there was maybe two other tables in the place and three servers (that I noticed) on the clock. We noticed their "Big King" crust and thought it sounded terrible. We then ordered and went with Sonny's something or another. The waitress asked us if we wanted thick or thin crust, so we got thick.

Another server eventually brought us our pizza. She apologized for them being out of one of the toppings, chives. This would have changed my choice in pizzas if I had known they were out of my topping. But whatever, we were hungry so we began eating it and it was pretty terrible. It tasted like nothing but cheese and dough. Our waitress also took another ten minutes to come ask us how it was, and never apologized herself about being out of a topping.

Then we went to pay and realized we were charged $3 more then we expected. Turns out by thick crust they meant the 'Big King' crust, which explained why it was terrible. The waitress essentially blew me off. She was a terrible waitress so I gave her no tip, which says a lot for me as I NEVER do that.

I then went to the bar and begin talking to the bartender about how terrible my experience was and that they needed to clarify better about the thick being the Big King and it being $3 more, as the menu had us believe that was a totally seperate choice. Instead of apologizing and listening to our suggestions, he just insisted that "here I will give you back your $3 if that makes you happy". The entire time I was calm and explained that it was not the money that was the issue, it was the fact my pizza was terrible and just suggesting they should better clarify the difference in their crusts, and also let people know when they are out of toppings. Our waitress then also joined in and begin trying to throw $3 at me. (I saved $3 by not giving the girl a tip, so I couldn't care less as I already took the $3 from her.)

Instead of acting as any reasonable small business would and trying to actually listen to what I had to say so they could improve their business and try to get me to come back, they were totally rude and didn't listen to a word I said. When I said the entire experience was terrible, all they could say was "I can give you your $3 back." The correct thing would have been "Here, I apologize for the bad experience, here is a $xx gift card, please come in and give us another chance." or "Here, sit down and have a beer on us and we will throw a pizza in the oven for you to take home."

I would have been more than happy to come back and try again, as I live right down the street, love pizza, love beer, and love supporting small businesses. They blew me off and didn't seem to give two shits about losing my business, so my business is officially gone.
