1. This evening and tomorrow afternoon Forest Park hosts St. Louis Microfest, a celebration of beer. (As opposed to the daily celebration of beer in which many of us partake.) More info, including ticket prices, at the official site.

2. Today is National Donut Day. Gut Check recommends celebrating National Donut Weekend with visits to several of St. Louis' great donut shops: Donut Drive-In, World's Fair Donuts and the St. Louis Hills Donut Shop, among others.
3. This weekend the Central West End holds its annual Art Fair & Taste: arts, craft, food and entertainment. Admission is free. More info right here.
