The Vivanno is Starbucks new smoothie. It combines real bananas with either chocolate or, in this case, mango and orange juice. Both flavors offer whey protein and fiber powder.
If Starbucks thinks this drink will pull the company out of its doldrums -- hoo, boy, are they in for a surprise. The orange-mango-banana variety is disgusting. It has this sour-tart aftertaste that builds and builds until it just overwhelms the bland banana flavor. Ugh. Even though there's no mint whatsoever in the Vivanno, drinking produces a sensation not unlike brushing your teeth and then eating or drinking something tart.
