Now Open: Cafe Osage

Café Osage is now open at Bowood Farms garden center at 4605 Olive Street in the Central West End. Running the kitchen are two names familiar to long-time observers of the St. Louis restaurant scene: David Guempel of Zinnia and Café Balaban and David Kirkland of Frazer's Brown Bag. From the press release:

The café features produce grown in the center's own vegetable garden, herbs grown on its roof-tops, naturally raised bison from the family farm in Clarksville, Mo., as well as other locally sourced meats, fruits and vegetables.

Café Osage is open for breakfast 7-10:30 a.m. Mon.-Sat, for lunch 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Mon.-Sat. and for brunch 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Sun. Call 314-454-6868 for more info.
