FoodWire: New Year's Eve at Moxy
Eric Brenner's Moxy (4584 Laclede Avenue) is hosting a New Year's Eve prix-fixe dinner: three courses plus an amuse bouche and a dessert bar.

Amuse Bouche:
Smoked salmon pinwheel, creme fraiche, caviar, chive
1. Soup or Salad:
White bean, bacon/sausage, red bean, green bean Soup
Spinach salad with dates, walnuts, blue cheese, duck confit, sherry/truffle vinaigrette
2. Choice of:
Butter poached lobster tail, roasted beets, sweet & sour leeks, fresh pasta
Seared foie gras with apples, dried apricot, rolled oat granola, maple yogurt sauce
Veal medallions with brussels sprouts, grain mustard whipped potatoes, red onion marmalade
3. Choice of:
Herb marinaded Filet of beef tenderloin with fingerling potato gratin, asparagus, bearnaise
Seared Halibut with champagne risotto, sauteed spinach, tomato relish, basil vinaigrette
Roasted
Free Range chicken with wild forest mushrooms, broccolini, wild and
whole grain rice medley, and fresh truffle scented pan jus
4. Dessert Bar in Lounge
Featuring chocolate fountain with fresh fruit, assorted tarts, baby cakes, truffles, and pies.
