Become a Writer for Gut Check!

Recession? What recession? That's right: Gut Check is hiring! Specifically, we're seeking freelance writers who can offer unique and interesting takes on the St. Louis food and drink scene.
What, exactly, do we want from you? You tell us! Maybe you're a server itching to show what the industry is like from your perspective. Maybe you're a culinary student wanting to describe what your program is like. Or maybe you're a wine geek who wants to show off your stash. The possibilities are limited only by your creativity.
Interested? Email me at ian.froeb@riverfronttimes.com with Gut Check Freelancer as the subject line. Introduce yourself, share your idea(s) for the blog and include a writing sample. The sample can be something you've published or blogged, or it could be an example of the sort of post you would like to write.
Established food bloggers -- including those of you to whom I often link -- are encouraged to apply, but please note that we are looking for original content rather than items you've already published on your blog.
