FoodWire: Coming Soon - The Map Room

• Those other customers are rank amateurs compared to how much I love this place. This is without exaggeration my favorite retail establishment in the Northern Hemisphere! The decor is absolutely perfect for posting suspicious reviews on food blogs. I haven't been home in three days!

• Well!! The shop finally opened... I have been there several times. I think the owners are going to get tired of me. :) I love starbucks coffee, but this coffee shop's house blend is the BEST coffee I have ever had!! I drank 3 cups... I spoke with a couple who had come in for coffee after eating dinner at a restaurant near by and commented as well how much they enjoyed the different coffees with or without alcohol. Also with the wonderful weather we have had recently, the courtyard was opened!! My husband and I went on a Friday night and sat outside and enjoyed a nice bottle of sangria with one of their pastries!! It had a great atmosphere!

• I can't wait to check it out. The website says that the place is opening tomorrow (Valentine's Day.) Looks like a unique shop that is great no matter if you are headed out with a group, your significant other or just by yourself. It's been in the works for a long time and I wish the owners the best.

• I stopped by last week and got a tour! Want to get away from all the stress of everyday especially now with the economic turmoil? I think I found it here at the Map Room, so relaxing, I've never been in an atmosphere like that before and a very nice lady owner. There's a park across the street and the courtyard in back is going to be fun this spring with music and movies. You don't feel like your in a city. I heard she's opening Valentine's Day-I'll be there!

• I too have driven by the place and it looks like a very nice comfortable place. I can hardly wait until it opens and to give it a try. The garden looks incredible and the thought of staying close to home instead of driving all the way to the wineries for a nice wine garden is great. Hope they open soon - so I can give it a try. What a plus for Benton Park !

• I went by there on my way home the other night, and meet the owner. Very nice people! I was able to look around, and the place seems like a great place to relax with friends, and share a coffee or a drink after a long day at the office, or a slow weekend afternoon! I agree with Don (above) that the garden area outside is very nice! I can't wait for the outside movies, it even has the old time popcorn machine as well. You will surely find me there!

• This is going to be one of the best places in the city to sit and relax for hours and just let the day waste away. I can't wait for the movies to start. It will be a pleasure to see a classy wine bar with a fantastically friendly atmosphere. Can't wait till you open!

• Drove by today & it looks very nice and a great place to hang on a Sunday morning(any time as far as that goes)!!!Chech it out for yourself, you will be glad you did. Hope it opens soon!!!! This place is a keeper...

• I personally have been in the shop!! It has an old world charm atmosphere! I've seen the before and after pictures of the work that was done to the courtyard! All I can say is fabulous. It is a little different than your ordinary coffee shops. The inside has very intimate setting. Whether you bring your significant other or just by yourself, this shop has what you are looking for!! Depending on the day and the selection of music, you can sip on your coffee or wine and close your eyes and travel far away!

• I can not wait until this place opens up! I have been by it several times and it looks adorable. The owner let me inside ad showed me around, she is such a sweetheart. The detail to the place is amazing and she said she is 100% green! i can't wait!

• I've talked with the owner and she told me that she will have a selection of wines and alcoholic coffee drinks avaiable. The garden area looks like it will be great place to relax when the weather gets nice and the inside looks like the kind of place where you would feel right at home. Lookng forward to going there.

• Kind of interesting that this place has the same name as one of the best beer bars in the world, yet not a single mention of beer on the website.
