Mathew Rice Recipe in February Food & Wine
Congrats to Mathew Rice, the pastry chef at Niche and the adjacent Veruca Bakeshop. Rice's recipe for milk-chocolate cookies with malted cream are featured in the February issue of Food & Wine magazine as part of an article highlighting milk-chocolate desserts. The cookies are pictured on the left-hand page photographed above. You can find Rice's recipe on page 77 of the issue or by clicking on the recipe name above.
This is the second time Rice has been featured in Food & Wine. His recipe for semifreddo s'mores was the "Last Bite" in the June 2008 issue. Last year, Food & Wine also named Niche's Gerard Craft one of its "Best New Chefs."
