New Farmers' Market in Highland, Illinois

The city of Highland, Illinois, is planning a new farmers' market for the 2009 season. The market, called Highland Markt und Mehr, will be held at Lindendale Park and the Madison County fairgrounds on Thursdays from 4-8 p.m.from June 4 through October.

Farmers and artisan vendors interested in participating in the market can attend an informational meeting at 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 5, at the Holiday Inn Express in Highland. For more information, call the Highland Chamber of Commerce at 618-654-3721.
