FoodWire: The Tilted Kilt Now Open in Arnold

The Tilted Kilt is now open at 131 Arnold Crossroads Center in Arnold. What is the Tilted Kilt, you ask? Read with me from the "History" section of the Tilted Kilt corporate Web site:

...a contemporary, Celtic-theme sports pub staffed with beautiful servers. And guess what the uniforms would be... knee-high socks and short, sexy plaid kilts with matching plaid halter tops under white shirts tantalizingly tied to show off the midriff.

You can see that uniform in the accompanying photo, which is the inside cover of the Tilted Kilt press kit that I received last week. Though I haven't verified this, I'm certain the actual Tilted Kilt servers have heads.

The Tilted Kilt has seventeen locations throughout the country. This is the first Missouri location. Its menu features such Celtic classics as the Buffalo chicken wrap, barbecue chicken pizza and lasagna. To be fair, it does offer fish and chips as well as shepherd's pie.

Also, there is something called a Philly cheesesteak salad. Yes, you read that right.
