- The St. Louis Business Journal reports that a new operator has been chosen for Bevo Mill (4749 Gravois Avenue). L&M Catering will use the historic space as a restaurant, catering and special-events facility.

- At Off the Menu, Joe Bonwich passes along whispers that Moxy chef Eric Brenner is consulting on the revamping of Molly's (816 Geyer Avenue; Web site), which has taken over the recently shuttered Norton's.

- Sauce Magazine's blog has the news of a new dessert restaurant called The In Spot at 5854 Delmar Boulevard.
