FoodWire: Founders Beer Dinner at Newstead Tower

Newstead Tower Public House (4353 Manchester Avenue; Web site) is hosting a four-course dinner paired with Founders Brewing Company beers this Thursday, June 17. The dinner is at 7 p.m. and costs $40 per person; reservations are required. Call 314-535-7771 for reservations or more info.

The Grand Rapids, Michigan-based Founders just became available in St. Louis. (See my feature story on the area's craft-beer scene for the details.) I've only had the Red's Rye P.A. so far and thought it was very, very good.

Prairie Grass Farm lamb burger with toasted brioche, pickled red onions, housemade grain mustard and Claverach Farms micro greens
