FoodWire: Highland's Art in the Park Has Dueling Desserts

Art in the Park, an annual juried art exhibition, is this weekend in Lindendale Park in Highland, Illinois. This year's event includes a new feature, "Dueling Desserts," on Sunday, October 11. Quoting the press release: "...professional pastry chefs will present artful desserts made entirely of edible ingredients. Attendees will vote for the best dessert by dropping spare change in jars." The festival runs 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday.
