FoodWire: Soulard Gyro and Deli Now Open

​I believe I'm a couple of weeks behind on this one, but Soulard Gyro and Deli is now open 2202 South 12th Street in Soulard, offering gyros, doner kebabs and sandwiches. According to the sign on the door, the restaurant is open from 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Mon.-Sat. (The website states that it opens at 10 a.m., but judging by the under-construction nature of the website, I'd go with the door.) For more information -- if you can't read it on the photo above -- the phone number is 314-260-9330.

While I understand the difficulty of restaurant logistics, especially when just starting out, I have to say I'm disappointed this place isn't open later. If I opened a gyro and kebab joint in Soulard, I'd be open till at least an hour after the bars close.
