This Week in Gut Check, Regurgitated

I don't know this for certain, but I think we broke the record this week for most posts on Gut Check in a single five-day week. At any rate, there was a lot going on, from Robin Wheeler's Chef's Choice profile of Companion founder Josh Allen to Drink of the Week's visit to the "Blood & Sand" cocktail event to one naughty drink coaster.

What else did we do this week?
Throwback of the House ate Polynesian Green Beans while remembering The Brady Bunch.

The Sneak took on the St. Louis International Film Festival, while the Noble Writ took on wine and Thanksgiving.

The Novice Foodie went underground, and Farmers' Market Share dug up a wheat-berry recipe.

The Beertender enjoyed the autumn beer dinner at Duff's, while Java Enabled enjoyed judging the Midwest Regional Barista Competition.

Seattle and Serious Eats celebrated St. Louis cuisine.

The Dive Bomber struck the Arena Bar and Grill, A Table for How Many? visited Royal Chinese Barbecue, and Sweet Scout confronted cupcakes.
That's it for this week. Rest assured: I have a backlog of restaurant news, so next week will be just a busy.

Have a great weekend. Eat something good -- and don't forget to nominate your favorite underrated restaurant!
