FoodWire: Sweet Basil Thai Cafe Now Open Downtown

I'm about a week behind the curve on this one, but anyway: Sweet Basil Thai Cafe is now open at 903 Pine Street. The restaurant is open from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday. There is a lunch buffet for $6.95, but you can also order from a full menu of Thai dishes. Sweet Basil has the same owners and essentially the same menu as Basil Spice (3183 South Grand Boulevard; website), which last year the RFT named the Best Thai Restaurant.
