Ben Roethlisberger Disrepects Beef Jerky, Loses Sponsorship Deal

The Big Ben in question is Ben Roethlisberger, the two-time Super Bowl champion quarterback of the Pittsburgh Steelers. Yesterday, Roethlisberger learned that he would not face criminal charges for an alleged sexual assault in Georgia.
Still, the circumstances surrounding the alleged assault proved too much for the maker of Big Ben's Beef Jerky, which has ended its sponsorship deal with Roethlisberger, according to the AP (via ESPN):
PLB Sports president Ty Ballou says Roethlisberger is "falling short" of the company's standards...Yeah, you knew beef jerky was tough. But did you think it was tough enough to stand up to a multiple-Super Bowl-winning quarterback?
