St. Louis beer aficionados freaked out last fall when Schlafly debuted its American IPA at its annual Hop in the City event. Fiends hunted down every last drop and then curled into the fetal position, awaiting its return.
Wait no longer! The American IPA is now available on tap at the Schlafly Tap Room and the Schlafly Bottleworks and in bottles.
There's an interesting discussion on STL Hops comparing this batch with the original. Based on one serving of the current batch, I feel like the new version is ever so slightly less complex than last year's, but it's still a damn fine brew.
