Tower Grove, Edwardsville Farmers' Markets Begin Saturday, 5.8

The Tower Grove Farmers' Market will run every Saturday from 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. through October 23. Note, though, that tomorrow's special kickoff event will run till 2:30 p.m.
According to the market's official website, it will host 60 vendors this weekend. Expect crowds. The market is located to the immediate west of the Pool Pavilion in Tower Grove Park, to the west of Center Cross Drive.
The Land of Goshen Community Market will run from 8 a.m.-noon every Saturday through mid-October. The market is located in downtown Edwardsville, which is a pleasant and, really, not very long drive from St. Louis proper. The market's website has a handy calendar of what produce might be available given the current week -- though, of course, actual availability will vary.
