Finally, to step outside St. Louis, Eater reports that Robb Walsh, cookbook author and the former restaurant critic at our sister paper, the Houston Press, is planning to open a Tex-Mex restaurant in Houston. Walsh, besides being one of my favorite food writers, is an expert -- maybe the expert -- on Tex-Mex cuisine. I don't know him personally, but I wish him the best!
