​Tomatoes certainly are worthy of celebration this time of year, and lots of people were ready to hail the juicy little bites from heaven at Slow Food St. Louis' the Good, the Big & the Ugly Homegrown Tomato Festival, held last weekend. Alissa Nelson was there to report on the proceedings, specifically the results of the tomato-based cocktail competition. If you missed her coverage, click here for the full report.
