The Food Network will pit (ha ha) the ribs from barbecue meccas Pappy's Smokehouse and 17th Street Bar & Grill against each other for a new show called Food Feuds. Hosted by the Cleveland-based Iron Chef America chef Michael Symon, Food Feuds will debut next month
In a voice mail message, Pappy's owner Mike Emerson told me that the network will be filming at his restaurant this afternoon around 2:15 p.m. According to the Belleville News-Democrat, the film crew will visit the O'Fallon location of Mike Mills' 17th Street at noon today. Filming will conclude Saturday with a rally under the Arch from 2-4 p.m. to determine the winner.
