Seafood City Supermarket has relocated from the corner of Olive Boulevard and North and South Road to the long-vacant grocery store space roughly a half-mile west on Olive -- directly across the street from the Olive Famers' Market.

The new Seafood City truly lives up to its supermarket moniker. The space is enormous. The aisles are divided more or less evenly between conventional American brands and international (mostly, if not entirely, Asian Pacific) goods.

Unsurprisingly, given the name, the most impressive aspect is the seafood department: several displays of whole fish on ice as well as lots of (head-on) shrimp, live crayfish and much, much more.

Seafood City is open 9 a.m.-9 p.m. daily.
