Former Gyro House Location Is Now Gyros in the Loop

I stopped inside to pick up a carryout menu and asked an employee if there was a connection to Gyro House. There is.
Both Gyros in the Loop and Gyro House are owned by (different) groups of former Gyro House employees.
As regular Gut Check readers know, Ahmed Eltawmi, the owner of the original Gyro House, was murdered in the parking lot of his apartment building earlier this year.
Gyros in the Loop is open 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Monday-Thursday, 11 a.m.-11 p.m. Friday and Saturday and noon-6 p.m. Sunday. You can reach the restaurant at 314-725-5343.
