Indian Food in University City Has Closed [Updated]

Indian Food, the Indian and Pakistani restaurant at 8629 Olive Boulevard in University City, appears to have closed. A sign advertising the restaurant for lease is in the front window, and the phone number has been disconnected.
I reviewed Indian Food in 2007, and it was one of my favorite restaurants in St. Louis. The beef nihari, a traditional Pakistani stew, was slated for my 100 Favorite St. Louis Dishes countdown. As I understood it, owner Zahid Khan had opened a second restaurant, Tandoori King, at 1617 Bryan Road in O'Fallon.However, a phone call to that restaurant reveals that Khan is no longer involved in its day-to-day operations.
(There was some confusion during the aforementioned phone call. If necessary, I'll clarify the Tandoori King information. Regardless, that restaurant is open.)
Update: (Friday, 10.8, 11:50 a.m.) In fact, Khan does still own Tandoori King.
