(Evan Benn of the Post-Dispatch reported via Twitter on Saturday, Newstead's final day, that the restaurant had run out of its beloved burger before 6 p.m. Though Newstead is gone, the burger lives on the lunch menu of Five.)
The month's other big news concerns a restaurant that won't actually close its doors for a few more weeks: Larry Forgione's An American Place.
