It doesn't take a study to show that college boys drink a bit. But it does take a study to show that they're often getting their nutrition from supplements instead of food. The Guardian reports on a study in the U.K. that indicates far too many guys are subsisting on supplements like protein powders, amino acids and creatine, along with cheap turkey breast and egg whites. Fruits and vegetables aren't on the menu.
Sara Lee bread probably isn't on the menu, either. Which is just as well. Advertising Age reports that the struggling bread sector of the food giant has been sold to Mexico's Grupo Bimbo, who also own the distribution rights of famous American food names like Entemann's and Thomas' English Muffins.
