Lumière Place Replacing Sleek with Stadium Sports Bar and Grill

Lumière Place couldn't sustain a high-end steakhouse with a celebrity chef's imprimatur. Now, the downtown casino is banking on a tried-and-true concept to replace Hubert Keller's Sleek -- a sports bar.

Stadium Sports Bar and Grill will open this spring in the former Sleek space, Lumière Place announced in a press release yesterday. The venture will feature the expected array of hi-def flat-screen televisions. According to the release, the menu will feature "appetizers, salads, sandwiches, hand-tossed pizzas, flatbreads and smoked meats, steaks and more."

Will the menu draw business from Hubert Keller's remaining Lumière Place venture, Burger Bar? Stay tuned.

DO NOT waste your time or money going here. I've been here twice an it was terrible both times. Awful service and awful food. They were out of 2 popular beers both times. The barback wound up being our waiter because he was more helful than the actual servers, and we found out he didn't even get the tip! Management just walks around doing nothing, passing by empty glasses and plates.. Had to flag down multiple people to clean off a table, and went to the bar after waiting 20 minutes and just ordered my own beer. Everyone is full of excuses about "being new and just opening" when you complain. They act like people are just stopping in while taking a break in between the penny slots. I actually went to watch the basketball championships (it is a sports bar, right?) and had to practically beg to get them to turn the Cardinals post game off! It wasn't like you could hear it or anything....They were playing Lady Gaga over the loud speakers!!!  Really!

Won't be going back!
