Eater
, the burgeoning national network of restaurant-news websites, has posted one of its "Heat Maps" of where to eat now right here in St. Louis -- a city that it ominously points out is "not yet under the Eater purview."

As this "Heat Map" of fourteen restaurants includes Rosalita's Cantina while ignoring (besides a back-of-the-hand also-ran mention) the vastly superior Milagro Modern Mexican, we can only hope that we remain out of Eater's purview.

(We kid! But, no, seriously, Milagro is better.)

Still, Eater does include a few cool out-of-leftfield choices like Central Café and PM BBQ. The other restaurants mapped are Farmhaus, Prime 1000, DeMun Oyster Bar (whose bar manager Chad Michael George is in the featured photograph), Peppe's Apt. 2, the Tavern Kitchen & Bar, Copia Urban Winery & Market, Sanctuaria, Taste, Bixby's, Lola and Bridge Tap House & Wine Bar.

No Bogart's, no Salt. This would have been pretty accurate 2-4 months ago I guess.

Agreed re Bogart's. To be fair, though, Salt *just* opened.
