Reminder: Riverfront Times Iron Fork Tomorrow Night

iron fork.jpg
What? You still don't have tickets for Iron Fork? Well, you missed last week's awesome two-for-one promotion, and we gave away Gut Check's last pair this morning, but you can still purchase general admission tickets for $35 per person from the Iron Fork website.

(Tickets at the door will cost you $45, so don't make a last-minute decision to attend. Buy now!)

What do you get for your money? You get unlimited access to samples from 30 area restaurants, including several that have been featured among my 100 Favorite Dishes: Pearl Café, the Cup, Taqueria Durango, Serendipity Homemade Ice Cream and Milagro Modern Mexican.

You also get to witness an Iron Chef-style battle in which Bernard Foster of the Hyatt, Carl Hazel of Scottish Arms, John Johnson of River City Casino and Adam Salyer of the St. Louis Union Station Marriott compete with dishes made from the same secret ingredient as well as multiple mixology throwdowns.

Iron Fork will be held at the St. Louis Union Station Marriott from 6:30-9:30 p.m. tomorrow, April 7.

Went to the Iron Fork competition last night. Had a nice time hanging with friends, ate some decent bites and enjoyed a few Blue Moons. But, the overall event was really weak. The event was supposed to be about the Iron Fork competition, and it was as if the Chefs were in the background and no one paying any attention. Y'all should have featured the competition and talked up the food they were preparing. Not one mention of what anyone cooked. The competition just went on in silence.

Thanks for the feedback, Dan. I'll make sure to pass it along to the organizers.
