Two and a half pounds of butter and three generations of family tradition go into each batch, and what comes out is an iced slice o' heaven. A layer of rich, creamy cheese filling is layered with tangy cherries and surrounded by a ring of flaky buttery dough, all topped with a light glaze. Trust us, at $1.10 a pop, the only thing you'll be second-guessing is your decision to buy only one. The Missouri Bakery Company has called the the Hill home since 1924. That's given it plenty of time to create quite a following of hungry St. Louisans, so arrive early to beat the rush.
