Ranoush Opens Second Location Today

​Delmar Loop Syrian restaurant Ranoush (6501 Delmar Boulevard, University City; 314-726-6874) will open its second location at 200 North Kirkwood Road in downtown Kirkwood at 5 p.m. today.

Owner Aboud Alhamid tells Gut Check that the menu at the new location will be "absolutely the same" as at the original. The Kirkwood Ranoush will seat approximately 40 inside, with room for 70-80 diners on the patio.

"This was my dream building when I came to the States," Alhamid says. He used to work at the late Blue Water Grill in Kirkwood and would drive by this location all the time. "Now it's like my dream has come true."
