All This Soda Talk is Enough to Make Us Sick

Categories: WTF?

It's bad news for soda. Reuters reports that sugared soda consumption is dropping in America.

It's not so great in the land of diet soda drinkers, either. A report presented at the American Diabetes Association's Scientific Sessions suggests that even sugar-free sodas can be linked to diabetes. And Americans drink an average of 57 gallons per person each year!

Meanwhile, the debate on soda taxes rages on.

It's all enough to make us a little nauseated.

"A report presented at the American Diabetes Association's Scientific Sessions"I notice there was no mention of the fact that it wasn't a particularly good study, showed no evidence of anything other than a corralative link(and in fact was incapable of doing so), and was not presented in an academic environment where it could be properly interpreted, studied, or criticized.
