Amigo Joe's Shutters Fried Chicken Restaurant

​Driving along Southwest Avenue this morning, I noticed that the Mexican restaurant Amigo Joe's (5901 Southwest Avenue; 314-645-1995) has closed Amigo Joe's Chicken, the small, fried-chicken-centric restaurant that it had opened immediately next-door.

I tried the fried chicken for the first time in February of this year and liked it. If you also were a fan, then I bring good news: The chicken is now available at Amigo Joe's in both its original version and a spicy rendition that I don't recall being available when I visited.
