Take Wing for a Good Cause: UCP Heartland's Wing Ding

ucpheartland.jpg
Just last week, Gut Check noted that our appetite for chicken wings seems insatiable. Now you have a chance to turn your love of wings into a way to support UCP Heartland in its mission to provide programs, services and support to individuals with disabilities.

On Thursday, August 25, UCP Heartland will host Wing Ding St. Louis. Celebrity judges as well as Andrew Veety will vote for the best chicken wings from both local and chain restaurants, including Joe Buck's, St. Louis Wing Co., Market Pub House, Buffalo Wild Wings and Weber's Front Row.

The event is located at Crestwood Court from 5-8 p.m. Admission is $25, which scores you all the wings you can eat plus two beverages. Proceeds benefit UCP Heartland. For more info, visit the UCP Heartland website.
