More on Dao Tien Vietnamese Bistro

| Dao Tien in University City |
According to the website, Dao Tien will open in October. The restaurant takes its name from the Vietnamese names of the owner (Dao) and her daughter (Tien), which together translate as "a peach from heaven."
The menu posted on the website includes vermicelli (bun) soups and dishes, banh mi, pho, rice platters and such "Specials" as beef jerky with papaya, spare ribs simmered in a clay pot and sweet and sour fish soup.
Dao Tien's posted hours are 10 a.m.-9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 9 a.m.-10 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
More on the exact opening date as I learn it.
As an aside, with the exception of an unnecessary animated intro, Dao Tien's website is exactly what a new or soon-to-open restaurant's should be: simple, easy to navigate, chock full of info.
