​Christy's Hamburgers, Dave & Tony's Premium Burger Joint, Jim Hanifan's It's a Better Burger and Smashburger: The hamburger is king at each of these new (or relatively new) joints, but do any of them provide a truly "better" burger? My review of the four restaurants is now available online -- and let's just say I'm skeptical -- while Jennifer Silverberg's slideshow takes us to Dave & Tony's in Creve Coeur.

Second location for Smashburger, "coming soon":  1671 Clarkson Rd. in Chesterfield

It would be interesting to see how a place like JJ's might compare to say, Smashburger.  Both places are relatively close in proximity and Smashburger seems to have stolen their concept on burgers from a well established restaurant (JJ's).  One must respect the innovator and the pioneer. Better burger?  You be the judge.
