E. Coli Outbreak in St. Louis County

The St. Louis County Department of Health has reported an E. coli outbreak, with fourteen cases of the disease reported this week. According to the department's official release, the source of the outbreak has not been identified.

The Post-Dispatch spoke with the father of one possible victim, who continues to recover at an area hospital. The father tells the paper that "his daughter may have gotten sick after eating food from a fast food restaurant or deli in downtown St. Louis, where his daughter works..."
