Hooked Opens in University City

One of Gut Check's trusted operatives dropped off a copy of Hooked's menu, which offers several seafood salads (shrimp, crab claw, fish of the day), calamari, skewered and coconut shrimp, and a crab cake.
Entrées include scallops, calamari, shrimp and salmon -- no further description is given on the menu-- each served with your choice of mixed vegetables, seasoned rice or French fries. There are three seafood pastas (shrimp, clam and a combination) and six po' boy sandwiches, beef brisket and fried oyster among them.
According to Hooked's Facebook page, the restaurant is open Monday and Wednesday through Saturday from 11:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. and for dinner 4:30 p.m.-1:30 a.m. It is open from 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Sunday and closed Tuesday.
My attempts to reach the restaurant to confirm its posted hours have yet to be successful, so you might want to call first (314-997-8886) before visiting.
