The Piano Made of Fruit, and Four More Edible Instruments

Categories: List Mania!
Really, who hasn't played air guitar on a baguette? (Uh, y'all, why is mine the only hand raised here?) But a working musical instrument made out of actual food?

That's pretty damn cool.

We were amazed by this video, via Gawker, of a working piano that a hacker collective called NYC Resistor made out of fruit:

Naturally, we had to search for other examples of musical food (beans don't count)...

This guy has made a bit of a name for himself on the Internet playing songs on vegetables. Here he is playing a pan flute made from carrots:

This guy, on the other hand, turns his carrot into a clarinet. (Though we're not sure whether to be impressed or to deduct points for his use of non-food items for a richer sound):

Eager to find a reliable source discussing how effectively studying piano to add some spice in my life and I think that this will be a good source to consider.
