Fuzzy's Taco Shop Coming to Webster Groves
Franchisee Scott Bonner tells Gut Check that the opening of the restaurant is about a month away.
Fuzzy's opened as a standalone restaurant in Fort Worth at the beginning of last decade. In 2003, father-son team Alan and Chuck Bush purchased Fuzzy's and, over the ensuing years, expanded it to locations in nine states, with two more states, including Missouri, soon to follow.
"We'll be a fast-casual type" restaurant, says Bonner, serving "Baja-Mexican food."
"We specialize in fish tacos, our big claim to fame," Bonner adds.

Fuzzy's will serve margaritas as well as ten to fourteen draft beers. The St. Louis location has a Facebook page, though at the moment it has only bare-bones info. A Fort Worth Star-Telegram article from this summer presents a comprehensive history of Fuzzy's.
